Branching scenarios don't have to be complicated pathways to drive behavior change. In this session, we'll demonstrate how simple, strategic branching can create meaningful learning experiences.
We'll explore three different utility examples that emerged from real client challenges: regulatory compliance and safety reporting, operational process changes, and stakeholder communication. You'll see different approaches adapted from the same template - consequence-based feedback, a decision-tree based process, and perception of choice - all built from one adaptable Storyline template we'll provide to you as a digital handout. We'll briefly guide you through how to adjust and apply the template to your own content, showing how the framework adapts across different training needs, from simple to complex.
By the end, you'll have both the instructional design strategy and technical know-how to put it all into action - proving that impactful scenario-based learning doesn't require complexity, just intentional design choices.
